Chevrolet Customer Service Chat The dealer is either completely unaware of General Motors policies regarding warranty service or simply unwilling to follow them. Made an appointment and was told it would be 5-7 days before they could get to the car. Aside from misleading customers on appointment dates and times, they refused to assist with loaner or rental while they had the car, indicating the issue had to be diagnosed before courtesy transportation was available. The vehicle had less than 500 miles, so it was clearly a warranty service. Thus, I contacted GM Customer Service directly and received the following: I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing such frustrations. Dealerships are independently owned and operated and manage their own loaner vehicles. Whenever an overnight, warrantable repair is required, Chevrolet does try to assist with transportation during this period. GM will cover a daily rate of up to $44/day ($47/day Cadillac rental) from a 3rd party rental agency until the repair is concluded. Please note, we will only consider reimbursement for a GM vehicle rented from a 3rd party rental agency. A NON GM 3rd party rental will not be reimbursed. Also any other fees including taxes, insurance, fuel, taxes, other fees and optional add-ons such as navigation, toll road devices, satellite radio are not reimbursable." For long term rentals, we also ask that you rent your vehicle by the week or month rather than daily to receive the best rental prices. Having your dealership coordinate your alternate transportation will ensure it is within GM’s coverage allowance. We can also contact the dealer to advise that they assist with setting up a rental if a loaner is not available. Once repairs are complete, we can collect your documentation via email or it can be submitted directly to the dealership. Please keep in mind that until we have the invoices in hand, we cannot guarantee rental coverage. The case number is 9-15197396235. The dealer should contact you directly once we contact them regarding the loaner/rental vehicle concern. Is there anything else I can assist with at this time?

We were told it would be a 2 hour wait, which ended up being 3 hours. My vehicle sat under the car port "finished" for 45 minutes. Just sitting there. I was not kept up to date with any of the process. I respect if there is something wrong in the "back" but keep me informed. Absolutely terrible service and communication. I brought my vehicle in for service and was told by the service advisor that it would be completed within a day to a day and a half. I was also told multiple times that they would reach out to me with updates and let me know when the vehicle would be ready—but I never received a single call. After calling the dealership 10 times with no response, I finally went in person, only to find out that they hadn’t even ordered all the necessary parts for the repair. This is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of professionalism and care for their customers. When I asked if they could provide a rental vehicle (as my repair was covered under the GMC certified warranty), the service advisor flat-out told me, “We don’t offer rentals at this dealership.” That turned out to be false. I eventually got in touch with the service manager, who clarified that they do offer a rental program, covering up to $40/day, and GMC would reimburse the cost. I still have yet to receive a refund.

The communication with Taylor and the team there was very good. The only disappointment was the amount of time to get my vehicle in. I made an appointment for the vehicle to be looked at in advance, knowing this was warranty work. I was surprised when I arrived with my vehicle that day to be told that they wouldn't be able to look at it for 3-5 days. Since my vehicle was working, I'd rather have been able to drive it for 3-5 more days until the dealership was ready for me.

Other than I was told the trans flush and fill repair cost would be $400 and after it was completed and with no call or text to perform additional repairs, I was told the repairs involved a new filter and a seal. The revised cost was $790. Since it was a done job, I had no choice but to pay. That doesn't look like good customer service.

I had an amazing experience purchasing my Trax with Al. I had my 17 year old daughter with me, along with my 12 year old son. The entire experience was impressive. He managed to help me to navigate my own thoughts and questions, while also taking care of my family. As with most auto purchases, it took some time and thought. My children were impressive and didn't get bored, but it truly was Al, who kept asking what he could do to help them, that made them feel at home. My daughter was so impressed that her questions, thoughts, and joys were, not only heard, but appeared to matter all day. This was a little bit of a hectic buy, on a personal level. Thank you, for making it all feel a little less stressful, a little less dire, and, dare I say, enjoyable. The grammar on this passage probably is terrible. My experience, our experience, at the dealership, is how I hope every buying experience in my children's lives occurs, forever. There aren't enough thank yous to express my gratitude to Al, and everyone at the dealership, but thank you, from the bottom of my soul.

If you ever wondered what keeps someone loyal to Chevy after a ZR2 that’s given them more drama than a daytime soap opera, the answer is two names. Taylor and George. Taylor? Lightning-fast, laser-focused, and able to get things done before you even finish explaining the problem. George? The calm in the storm, aka the only human capable of talking me down when I was this close to trading my Chevy keys for a bicycle. This dynamic duo doesn’t just provide customer service, they provide emotional support, mechanical triage, and a level of patience that should earn them sainthood. Without them, I’d be sending this review from the waiting room of another dealership. Bottom line: 6 out of 5 stars. Chevy is lucky to have them, because they’re the reason I’m still here and not in a Ford.

He asked if I would like my tires rotated I said yes if I need it please go ahead and it wasn’t done which I’m sure it needed I have 40k miles and don’t think it’s been done. Also I wasn’t told it didn’t get done I just realized after I paid and looked at the invoice. I also was sent pics and was given an estimate on something I needed but was never called to discuss my options or as to how important it was or wasn’t ! Little to no communication.

I scheduled my appointment online and had my husband take the vehicle in for appointment. They told him upon arrival that they were sorry they weren't going to be able to work on the vehicle because they had 10 cars ahead of ours and they closed in an hour. My husband told them we had a 4:00 appointment and we were not leaving. They then took the vehicle back for the oil change, however the tires were not rotated as we requested on the appointment scheduling.

The service was fine but took twice as long as I was told. The service representative left for the day and did not tell anyone so no one knew my vehicle service was complete. I was told my service would take an hour and a half while I waited. I finally checked on the status 3 hours later. They discovered that it was complete but unknown how long since the representative had left for the day.

Husband and I had the worst experience with my Colorado... Brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic check which my advisor Zachariah told us that it would 5-10 business days for a diagnostic test.. Didn't really make since why it would take so long for diagnostic check, understanding that my vehicle isn't the only one in the shop.. Our bad experience was communication our advisor Zachariah didn't inform us that the charge for a diagnostic test $199.99 when technicians diagnostic check doesn't meet vehicles warranty customer is stuck paying that fee. Also contacted Randall Roberts the Service Manager about items found after changing battery we found one of the technicians dirty work rags and two galvanized screws that went to nothing on my vehicle.. Mr Roberts response was WOW.. My husband and I have never taken my vehicle anywhere else but AutoNation to get serviced.. No explanation and how this items ended up under the hood of my vehicle.. Customer Service starts with Management if they don't care why should the associates... My husband and I were witness to poor customer service, when an older gentleman needing help to get inside to get his vehicle serviced no one attempted to help him... Several associates past by, but no one helped. Gentleman had two knee replacements and back surgery and was having trouble walking with his cane.. My husband stopped and asked him if he could help with anything, my husband asked one of the associates if they could find him a chair with wheels so we could roll him in the building... His response oh I couldn't find a chair with wheels... Luckily older gentleman had a walker in his truck, husband and I helped him with his walker and a sweet nice older man I think he was the porter helped him inside... But my point is that several associates in nice looking attire never stopped to help this poor older gentleman obviously needing help... His comment to us was when I was purchasing the vehicle he had all this Sales Men around him wanting his money, but now where's the help no where to be found... Customer Service doesn't stop at the Sales Department it also continues to Service as well... It's all about Management and how they run their area....What I experienced management needs alot of help... The one associate that we would like to thank is George Castro he listened and understood where we we're coming from and why we we're very upset 😡.. Thank You very much for being helpful and compassionate to our needs... Keep up the fantastic work Gerorge Castro... 👏 👍

This was my second visit for service on my new vehicle, and it was very different from my first. While additional services were recommended, my follow-up questions were brushed aside, and I was not offered the best pricing options available. My service advisor seemed frustrated with my payment request and was openly unprofessional in front of customers. All I wanted was a working truck, and y'all couldnt provide that. Still can't. I had to bring it back after a week in my possession. Y'all then had it for 37 days before doing any sort of repair. And its still having issues. Some of them the same as I mentioned when I brought it in but your service team chalked it up as something different. Then one I called to complain I keep getting bounced around to manager after manager and each one says the other is unavailable right now but will call me back, then they never do. I've called your office 5 times, your headquarters 3 times, and all I get is the run around. I've named Steve Chapman the GM, Randy the service manager, Abel the sales manager, and George Castro the service advisor in each of my complaints. No one answers the phone, no one calls back, no one cares.

They didn't stay in contact with us. my wife and I had to keep reaching out to them David Flores NEVER answered his phone and very rairley did he respond to emails. we took our car in FOUR DIFFERENT times for the same issue. they keept telling us it was a different thing each time. I had the Salseman AL Jamison keep relaying messages for me because no one would return calls. AL was the only person that would answer EVERY TIME I CALLED. as a matter of fact I called Randy Roberts on Wednesday 8/27/25 at 10:00 am and still haven't heard anything back from him. i called Al on 9/3/25 and asked if Randy got the message and he said im sorry that he didn't return your call I will let him know again. if we ever have a issue with our car again WE WILL NEVER TAKE IT BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP. This was my first time going to auto nation for any type of service. You always had horror stories about going to the dealership, but that was not what I experienced. Jason was my appointment tech. And he was a great help, very knowledgeable and honest. I had a transmission service done, he called me after it was finished and gave me the whole run down of how it went. I appreciate the good work and great customer service. Even to the gentleman who brought my truck to me after I checked out with Jason, he did a great job too.

Had a 9am appt for standard service - oil change, rotate tires, lube. Was told it would be ready by noon. Called at noon and was told it had just been taken in to the service bay and that it would no more than 1.5 hours. Ended up not getting the vehicle until 4pm. NOT HAPPY about all the delays. Was told that they put "waiting customers" ahead of me in the morning. What is the purpose of setting an appointment if you are not going to have it ready on time?

I recently received my truck back after 24 days in the service department at Autonation Chevy South in Corpus Christi. During that time, I received no updates, and despite multiple calls, my service advisor (Richard F), the service department manager (Randy R), and even the GM ( Steve C) never responded. There was absolutely no communication from anyone, and no one in the department seemed to care. I was confused with another customer of the same last name multiple times, and at pickup I waited 30 minutes while no one could find my vehicle or acknowledge me until I went back inside and spoke to the only advisor present, Anna. No one explained what was done to my vehicle. Overall, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service was unacceptable. This experience was so horrible that I no longer want to be a Chevy customer or return to this service department.

First of all, setting up my appointment was a breeze and the day of my appointment Taylor took care of my vehicle, and got me on a shuttle to my home. Just as predicted, two hours later my vehicle was ready, everything was seamless. I was texted beforehand with pictures on the progress of the work being done on the vehicle as well. Don't schedule appointments and then make people wait 4 to 5 days and not look at the vehicle. The idea of an appointment is to be seen on that day and within a reasonable time. Being seen is the vehicle being in a bay and evaluation of the issue beginning not checking the vehicle into the system. This is the second time this has occurred.

I had my coolant flushed and the thermostat housing replaced. On my drive home, my brand new accessory belt broke. A screw came off the water pump belt. I am not sure if they took the pump off to do a flush but whatever they did, I had to make further repairs. Next time, I will do the maintenance myself. At least I will have only myself to blame is something goes wrong and I won't have to pay as much.

Upon arrival my appointment was unable to be found in the system after confirming in the My Chevy App and multiple emails and text messages. After waiting 3 hours only to find out my vehicle was ready within a hour and a half but I was never notified. The sales person stated they text and called, only to find out the number they called was a non working number. All that after the fact when I checked in I gave him my phone number and it was listed as a cell number on my file. They called the home number which is invalid.

Oil change took over 3 hours to complete, even with an appointment. Poor communication from service advisor and service manager. He didn’t come to speak with a waiting area full of upset customers. Was told he was out to lunch, but when he did return, he wandered around as if he was looking into the service delays. Finally got my vehicle worked on by a service tech who overheard my conversation with the service advisor and stepped up to do my service. Very poor job of communicating with all customers waiting.

First we had to get with a supervisor to get a loaner for a warranty issue with my car. It took over 8 hours to get the loaner. Then every time I called I was put on hold and no one ever answered so I had to call back multiple times. They were horrible about updating me on my car. This was the absolute worst car service experience I have ever had.

I had my daughter take in my Trailblazer because it was stalling out time to time. When she took the car in she was told we could leave the car but they were backed up for the next month. She asked if we were going to get a car to use and was told no. They asked if they could check another Chevy dealer and was told they were probably as busy as they were. I could not leave my car for a month and not have transportation. We had to leave. A couple of weeks later my car ended up dying on me and I had to replace my battery late in the evening. I’m 66 yrs old. I have a Chevy trailblazer with AutoNation and a 4 Runner with AutoNation Toyota. I was very disappointed with your Chevy service department.

Well thank you Shawn for taking good care of my Colorado, but the only thing my husband and I had a question was why there was a piece of electrical tape flapping out of my hood...The other problem was I wasn't informed that there was going to be a deductible with my extended warranty. I also had to wait a long while for someone to bring up my truck, but never happened till I had to go inside and ask if someone was bringing up my truck, and obviously NOT when my keys were still on the counter...

Techs said they had to replace spark plugs nad do a fuel purge about 1800 dollars and when I went to pick up vehicle the check engine light was on still. They said they fixed tge issue went back the next day to pickup vehicle drove it around for about 3 hours and check engine light came back on most likey because they o ly cleared the codes and never actually fixed the issue. Checked the codes on my 500 dollar scanner and its the same codes i took it in For but rep was saying they are different codes then what I brought it in for. Took the vehicle back and have yet to hear from anyone.

Communication was lacking. When I dropped off the vehicle for the recall, I asked that the back up camera be checked as it only works 50% of the time. The next day, I got a text that the vehicle was ready to be picked up. I messaged back to inquire about the camera and was told there were no codes so all is OK. When I picked up the vehicle, my service tech was not there so I asked the one helping me if the camera was really working and was told that it probably was not as a "low level tech" had worked on my vehicle and that problem would need to be looked at by a more experienced person. So I would need to bring the vehicle back again and plan on leaving it for a minimum of 5 days. This is not the level of service I was expecting.

I had one of the worst experiences taking my 2025 Chevrolet Trax to the dealership. My A/C stopped working, and since the vehicle was still under warranty, I took it to AutoNation Chevrolet South Corpus Christi on December 9th. I was initially told by the service advisor that the repair would take one week. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the beginning of a series of misleading updates. I did not receive my vehicle back until January 7th, nearly a month later. Throughout this time, I consistently followed up with the advisor, both by phone and by stopping by the dealership for updates. Almost every week, I was told the car was ready. Each time, while I was on my way to pick it up, the advisor would call at the last minute to say it was not ready after all. This resulted in unnecessary Uber expenses every time I attempted to retrieve my vehicle. After two weeks, I informed the advisor that I needed a firm completion date because I was renting a car. Despite this, I never received a reliable timeline. During the final week, the dealership provided a rental vehicle, but it only partially covered the rental cost. I had to pay the remaining balance through Enterprise and also had to wait three additional days until a Chevrolet, GMC, or Buick vehicle became available. Throughout this entire process, the advisor was still unable to provide a solid completion date. It appeared that communication between the service advisor and the specialist was extremely poor. On one visit, when I was told the car was ready, the advisor took me into the maintenance area, where I saw my vehicle still disassembled, with the dashboard taken apart and the front doors removed. After finally receiving my car, I noticed a significant scratch on the rear driver-side door. I am confident this damage was not present before I brought the vehicle to the dealership. I will never take my car back to this location, and I will not recommend it to anyone. This experience was extremely disappointing.

Just poor customer service all around, from trying to drop off for my appointment, bringing it back twice, work done that was not approved, approved work that was not done, and asking for help finally with an intermittent issue, felt like no one actually listened but they put it through the paces. Which makes me uncomfortable

I have responded to this 3x so far. I asked for them to check the catalytic converters because I was pretty sure that is what the issue was. They said it was another sensor. Which it wasnt. It ended up being the catalytic converters so I paid nearly $900 to replace a sensor that probably was fine. Then was quoted $4k to replace the catalytic converters! No thanks, never again. And, when replacing the catalytic converters somewhere else, they found where the O2 sensor was damaged because they tried to remove it and couldnt so i had to replace an O2 sensor as well.
