The 2025 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD is a workhorse, and like a good modern truck should be, it’s customizable to your work needs. A lot of that customizability is in your choice of engines, cab, or bed, but you’ll also love what’s inside this modern classic.
Inside the 2025 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD: A Modern Classic
A Cab to Configure
What’s so great about the Silverado 3500 is the way you can choose anything from a completely stripped-down version to function as a utilitarian work truck or go all the way up to perforated leather seating with huge screens, heated and ventilated seats, and a heated steering wheel.
If you go with the crew cab, you can fit up to six adult passengers with plenty of comfort and space. Chevy has redesigned the setup so that you get a longer wheelbase, and that’s what gives you that space.
Even on the base trim, anyone in the rear now has their own climate vents and controls. You can also opt for a head-up display, wireless charging, rubberized floor mats, a digital cluster, and more. There’s also lots of room inside with a giant center console bin and underseat storage.
Advanced Safety
When you’re driving something as powerful as the 3500, it’s important you have the right safety tech to support you. Even in the base trim, you get a lot of safety features, including:
- Front pedestrian braking
- Automatic emergency braking
- Collision alert
- Lane departure warning
- Following distance indicator
- HD rear vision camera
- Hitch guidance
- The StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with traction control
There’s a lot more available, like a multi-camera system that gives you 14 views, including a bed view and a transparent mode to make it easy to trailer in crowded areas. Adaptive cruise control is also available, as are front and rear parking assist and hill descent control.
All the Modern Tech
Every Silverado HD comes with the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System with a 7″ diagonal color touchscreen, and that comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and can also support Google-based apps. There’s a touch-sensitive display, but you also get physical buttons and knobs so you don’t have to look away. You can store different trailer profiles depending on who’s driving and even control some of the functions through the Chevy app.
Wi-Fi hotspot capability is built-in, and you’ve also got wireless phone protection and Bluetooth streaming. If you go up to the higher trims, you can choose a larger touchscreen at 13.4″ and get wireless smartphone charging, as well.
